Aruna is the founder of Real Impact Solutions based out of UAE’s sustainability hub, Masdar City. She brings 20 years of experience in sustainability, impact investing, value chain analysis, climate change related planning, and corporate social responsibility, Aruna is a strategic thought leader with a passion for driving prosperity through people empowerment and environmental stewardship.

Aruna has held leadership positions at organizations including Dulsco, Accenture, Ocwen Financial Corporation, Purecog Holdings and The Partnerships Advisory. She is a Non-Executive Director on the board of EIGHT Clouds Private Equity (ADGM) and has been nominated to the Board of Sustainability Action Society (an initiative by The Capital Club, Dubai).

As an alumna of the Harvard Business School and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Aruna is an advocate for diversity and inclusion, and leads the Alumni Network of Harvard Women (UAE Chapter). She has completed the SDG Ambition Accelerator program organized by United Nations Global Compact and has been named to the ESG Power List 50 (2022) which recognizes the most influential ESG leaders in the MENA region.
